The Mediterranean Diet and migraine headaches - and Covid
The dreaded Covid. I’ve been feeling pretty cocky about Covid and convinced that for whatever reason I had some kind of immunity to it. I’ve had a few bouts of bad colds and flu-like symptoms, but Covid never seemed to get me. Even though I’ve had some situations where I’ve been so heavily exposed to Covid that I’ve been shocked I didn’t get it.
I’ve been sick since last Sunday, so as per usual, I did a Covid test just to rule that out and when it came back positive my husband and I looked at each other in shock. I guess the point is it’s pretty hard to dodge forever. I’m curious…
Sunday started with a scratchy throat that almost immediately went deep into my chest, but by Monday that was almost gone and instead, I entered 48 hours of nonstop hell with a vicious migraine. Not just your ordinary migraine: it was as if there were a little person next to my head, slamming it nonstop with a hammer.
