Venice is one of the places in Italy that everyone should see; there’s no other city like it, and with climate change accelerating, it's possible that it may not be around forever.Â
A lot of people who visit Venice often do so on a day trip, visiting just one or two of the city’s famous landmarks before departing.Â
You should consider staying longer in La Serenissima ('The Most Serene'), and following in the footsteps of the locals to really experience Venice.
