Summer in Sperlonga, Let's go to the Beach 🏖️

Every summer I spend some beach time in the Mediterranean coastal town, Sperlonga, just an hour and a bit south of Rome. My hotel of choice is the Hotel Aurora. Each room is slightly different and many overlook the sea.

Breakfasts are divine and plentiful and one of my favorite moments of the day is aperitivo time on the Hotel Aurora terrace. As I sip my cocktail this is my view as I look up to the charming Sperlonga hill town:

The hotel is small - only three floors - and it’s decorated with lovely items collected by the owners over the years. It’s a family-owned and operated hotel: locals entrenched in the fabric of Sperlonga life.
