Friends, it’s that time of year again—time to reflect on the past 12 months and think about how we want to grow, improve, and make a difference in the year to come. New Year’s resolutions are always a mix of excitement and challenge. We dream big, we set ambitious goals, but let’s be honest, many resolutions don’t make it past February. I know, I’ve been there many times.

That’s why this year, I’m taking a different approach. Instead of overwhelming myself with a long list, I’m focusing on two simple yet powerful resolutions that are not only doable but impactful. They’ll benefit both my personal well-being and the world around me—and I’m hoping they might inspire you, too.

But first, let's dig into my recipe for your holiday menu:

  • Sage leaves, about 15/20

  • Parmesan, freshly grated, 60 grams (2 ounces)

  • Black pepper, freshly ground, 1/2 teaspoon

  • Salt, to taste
