The news these days talks incessantly about how hot it is, and how temperatures have now reached their all-time high in the history of our planet, or at least, for as long as we've been record-keeping temperatures. And then the other topic which ties into extreme temperatures are fires. I watch the news worldwide and this summer the Canadian wildfires have been astounding. Here in Europe things aren't any different and some of the island fires in favorite vacation spots have caused first responders to evacuate tourists and locals alike from the islands.
