I’m sitting on my terrace enjoying the early morning, but already temperatures are working their way up to the 100°F that has been promised for today. If you don't catch fresh temperatures in the early morning, the other solution is to wait till the sun sets and enjoy the cool evenings. The only drawback with the evenings out in the countryside where I live are mosquitoes, and after a very rainy, late spring season they are thriving. Mosquito sprays help but the single best eco-friendly solution is to encourage your own bat population, and no better way to do that than with a few strategically placed bat houses.
