Ours will be a quiet New Year’s Eve, spent with friends. Whatever your plans are, may your evening be a joyful celebration of fun, good health, good food with a promise of a 2024 of world peace.

We used to love going right into the very center along with the crowds to ring in the new year, or find a gorgeous Rome rooftop view to share in the splendor of fireworks with everyone. Not so much anymore and since we live in a villa on a piece of land that rises above Rome, we have a magnificent view of the fireworks.

So this year, like in recent years, will be on our home turf. We’ll enjoy a pleasant evening with friends who live out in our area. 

The magic moment of New Year's Eve is at midnight when we transition from one year into the next with a glass of bubbly, sparkling wine.
