Starting in January delicious oranges abound in Italy and the best ones come from Sicily. All winter long right after dinner my husband makes me a bowl of sliced fresh fruit and a fresh squeezed glass of orange juice. The tastiest and most spectacular are the Sicilian blood red oranges: the prize of winter!
